Lalsingh Sports Academy students shine in Wushu Contest

Nagpur: In the 10th District-level Sub-Junior and Junior Wushu Contest, students of Lalsingh Sports Academy, CRPF Group Centre, Hingna, performed outstandingly.

Sagar Shinde bagged one Gold Medal while Hossain Momin, Vir Chandanshiv, Ronit Mendi, Prince Khobragade, Ashmit Landge, and Abhilash Kumbhare won Silver Medals. The Bronze Medal winners are Srushti Loulusure, Shivmani Tamda, Divyans Singh, Aditya Motghare, and Bhavesh Meshram. The Secretary of Wushu Association, Deepak Bisen presented medals to the winners. CRPF’s Deputy Inspector General Sanjay Kumar, Arti Singh, Dr Nishit Vijayan congratulated the winners and wished them success in future contests.

The winning students gave credit to trainer Lalsingh Yadav for their success.

Nagpur: The pre primary students of DPS Lava celebrated Sawan – the most beautiful of all seasons on September 15, 2018. The amphitheatre that enjoys the cool shade of a mighty banyan tree was the venue.

The rains are the harbingers of joy. They quench the thirst of the parched earth and rollout carpets in all shades of green. Farmers rejoice, as every shower is like a blessing from the lord almighty. Rains are a promise of prosperity and so sawan is the time for celebrations.

SAWAN MELA, at DPS Lava was a celebration. Students of Nursery, KGI and KGII enthralled the audience with a group song and group dances. They acknowledged the hard work that our farmers put in to make the country self sufficient in food. Melody, rhythm and fun came together. Stalls of lip smacking delicacies upped the enjoyment quotient. Parents appreciated the wonderful performances and savored every mouth-watering dish

Dr. Satish Deopujari, the renowned paediatrician, was the Chief Guest. In his address, Dr. Deopujari urged the parents to encourage their children to be creative and think out of the box.

The Guest of Honour was Siddharth Roy a young author whose debut novel ‘The Special Fish’ is making waves in the best –sellers lists. Siddharth Roy spoke of a lack of balance between competition and creativity in today’s world. He quoted Dumbledore of the Harry Potter fame, “It is not ability that makes a man what he is, it is the choices he makes.”

Department of Computer Engineering of Suryodaya College of Engineering and Technology recently installed students Forum “ACES-2018”. Forum inaugurated by Mr. Ranjitji Chafle, Secretary,NRDRS. Dr. Santosh Chede, Principal, SCET expressed his views on “Industry – Institute Interaction and student’sapproach towards it”.

Mr. Abhishek Belkhede, Director, SCET, and Prof. Vivek Parhate, Vice-Principal, SCET felicitated the nominated students with badges. Prof. Vivekanand Thakare, HOD, presented the introductory speech and briefed the forum activities in past and in future under ACES-18.The program had been concluded with the “Tree Plantation” program arranged by the newly selected committee members of “ACES-18”.

The program was successfully carried out under the guidance of the Forum Incharge Prof. Pradip Balbudhe and the staff members of the department. Ms. Kanchan Kukdewas selected as the Forum President, Mr. Shitan Dhir as Secretary, Mr. Azhar Khan as treasurer of ACES-2018.

Nagpur: Department of Civil Engineering, Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (PIGCE), organized NIRMAAN 2K18 forum installation ceremony for the students of Civil Engineering Department, of 2018-19 session. Yash Meshram, BIM Engineer, Techture Structure Pvt. Ltd., alumni of PIGCE, inaugurated the ceremony. Dr. R. M. Dhoble, Principal, congratulated the students and inspired them by his motivational speech. Prof. P. I. Rode, HOD Civil Engineering Department has briefed the gathering and informed the gathering about the unique practices followed in the Civil Engineering Department for making the students globally competent.

Nagpur : An expert lecture of Mr. Aman Shukla, Trainer, CADCAD Guru, Nagpur, was organized on the topic “Design aspects of FALCON fighter jet plane” recently for all the students of Mechanical Engineering and polytechnic.

At the beginning of the program Dr. Hemant Sonare, Director, Wanjarri group of Institutions welcomed the guests with a floral bouquet. Prof. Nitesh H. Chahande, Head of Mechanical Department focused on the importance of design aspects to be implemented practically.

The speaker shared his industrial experience with the students and made them aware about the design perspective to be implemented in the field of aerodynamics. He also focused on the various tools that are used to integrate design and manufacturing .

The unit Head Er. Amol Singh Gour gave brief introduction about the industry and later he guided the students at virious section of the plant. The students got the indusrial exposure to see the various machines and processes.

The expert was Mr.VinitKhatni, Technical Head, Network HUB,Nagpur.He explored the concept of file handling & pointers in C programming language. Also he has elaborated the concepts by taking practical implementation on the different types of programs on pointers.The guest lecture concluded with question answering session in which all the doubts and queries arose by students were cleared by the expert. Students were immensely benefited by the knowledge and experience shared by the expert.

Different events like games ,traditional day Rangoli competition was arranged for the students of Shat-Ayu College and mahaprasad was organized on 19th sep followed by Sandal and finally with deep heart visarjan of Baapa was done .

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Abhay M. Shende, Principal PJLCE in the presence of HOD CSE Dr. Vijaya Balpande, Heads of various department, BiT-C forum in-charge Prof. Mausami Sawakar, other staff members and students. The committee members of forum were declared & members were nominated with badges by the dignitaries.

Events such as Digital Poster presentation, Logo Design Contest & Online ‘C’ Test were organized on this occasion in order to give our budding technocrats a platform to augment on to their confidence through team building and other group activities. Nagpur: The entrepreneurship development cell of Hislop College organised a workshop on Skills for Grooming Industry with an aim to apprise students about the entrepreneurial opportunity. Aarti Eliezer, one of the proprietors of Change, the chain of unisex salons in Nagpur, addressed the students on the scopes and prospects of this emerging industry of grooming.

Aarti also highlighted the three levels at which students may enter this industry. The managerial and customer care being the non technical areas, do not require specific training. The third area of engagement in the industry is the operations, which require precise training with regards to hair, skin, nails and make-up. She informed the students how explicit training can be acquired from places like Mumbai or Delhi, and now even in Nagpur.

The duration of the training may be from one week to 1 year depending on the type of specialization. The students were amazed to discover that post training, even a small outlet can earn anything between Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh every month even in the early stages of the venture. Aarti also apprised the students on the scope of freelancing as a hair or make-up artist. She also showed a short video filmed at “Change” that perfectly summed up the professional set-up of this industry.

In the end the guest addressed queries from the students. The programme was convened by Prajesha Naidu while Zidane Kachhi proposed the vote of thanks.

The intent of the organization is to bring together the alumni of SFS School together for the benefit of the alumni themselves, the school and our beloved teachers.

New Executive Body of the SFS OBA for the term 2018-21 got declared in the Annual General Meeting held recently by the Election Officers Adv. Kamal Satuja and Adv. Rayomond Daruvala. New Executive Body of SFS OBA consists of Tejinder Singh Renu (1983 Batch) – President, Arunpal Singh Behal (1980) & Sanjay Menon (1979) – Vice Presidents, Sanjay Raghatate (1989) – Secretary, Devanshu Patel (1989) – Treasurer, Adv. Prakash Rawlani (2005) – Joint Secretary and Executive Body Members being Santosh Jaswani (1983), Manohar Roy (1988), Dinesh Naidu (1990), Nirmalya Sinha (1991), Dhiren Jaswani (1992), Adv. Nitin Gopalani (1993) and Dr. Shiraz Khan (1996).

The new SFS OBA is looking forward to celebrate 150th Anniversary of the SFS School, Mega Reunion with lots of enthusiasm in coming years. While annual projects mainly remains as Irfan Hussain Memorial Drawing Competition, Inter Batch Cricket Tournament and others.

Suryodaya college of Engineering & Technology organised an Industrial visit at Khaparkheda Thermal Power station by Electrical Engg. Department especially for semester Third & Fourth student. The main objective behind the visit was to make student aware about how electricity is genereted by using coal.

Students were guided by Er. Pallavi to control room where a orientation of company was given by head Er.Pradip kale.

Maximum production in power station is carried out by means of machinery subdivide in various activities like inception of raw material in boiler section, turbine section to generating station. Finally Finished with the grid that is generated electricity is provied to the grid which show the how effective company works.

A guest lecture on Finite Element Method (abbreviated as FEM) was organized in Vidarbha Institute of Technology (VIT). Prof.Ravindra Dehankar from Anjuman College of Engineering was the speaker. Prof.Ravindra Dehankar is having more than 16 years experience of Teaching.

He discussed the steps to numerical technique to obtain an approximate solution to a class of problems governed by elliptic partial differential equations. The content of lecture also includes methods to explain how spatial derivatives are converted into algebraic expressions by FEM and the temporal derivatives are converted into algebraic equations.

Dr.Sanjay S Uttarwar (Principal, VIT), himself being a Mechanical Engineer had further explained the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in the simulation of any given physical phenomenon, and for the prediction of how a part or assembly behaves under given conditions. Both speakers addressed a huge crowd including the Faculty members & Students of Mechanical Engineering who enthusiastically attended the program.

He briefed the gathering about the activities and also explained how the department offers the best possible learning environment for the students.

Subsequently student’s attendance, academic performance and other special programmes have been briefed to the parents. The large number of Parents were attended this meet. And they like this event for the student’s progress point of view.

To show the love and respect towards the grandparents, Green Heaven Kids celebrated Grandparent’s Day recently in the school . Children welcomed the grandparents with melodious welcome song “ dada Dadi Nana Nani welcome to our school” . All Children were very excited to perform for their grandparents. A few children of Jr. KG and Sr. KG performed a beautiful dance Dadi amma Dadi Amma man jao.

Thereafter, various games were organized for all grandparents and all of them truly enjoyed. All grandparents were enthusiastic & excited to participate in all games .It was a wonderful day indeed. Mr. & Mrs. Kolhatkar who are not only grandparents but the great grandparents i. e. pardada & perdadi were present on this special occasion. The program was appreciated by Mrs. Narmada devi Sharma & Kavita Sharma, Director of Green Heaven Kids .Grandparents shared their views about school . Prizes were given to all the winners of various games. The program was successful under the guidance of Mrs.Aboli Bidkar principal of Green Heaven Kids .All the efforts of the school for hosting such an exciting event was appreciated by Management members, all Grandparent & Parents.

The range , varieties, flavours and shapes of the 180 kinds of icrecreams made all the youngsters mouth watering.Students had gathered knowledge about the hygiene,temperature, ingredients and other parameters which these kind of dairy factories follows strictly.

Tirpude Institute of Management Education organises various events and competitions under its flagship Tirpude’s Premier League (TPL).The idea of TPL is to engage the students in various sports, cultural, co-curricular as well as extra- curricular activities inculcating in them a healthy competitive spirit boosted with teamwork and blended with motivation for a sense of achievement.

After the grand success of the TPL 2017-2018 season 1, the students were very excited to get back to the competition. To mark the beginning of the TPL 2017-18 Season 2, a grand event comprising of performances by the Organising Committee was organised. The first event of the second season is the TPL Football tournament.

It is a fifteen day long tournament where in all the 16 teams have league matches. To add a touch of glamour to the energetic football matches, two three performances on peppy Bollywood numbers were performed by the organising committee students. Also a photo shoot was organised for all the teams with the TPL flags and the Winner Trophies as the back drop.

Four matches were scheduled for the day between the following teams:
1. Gladiators vs Thunderbirds
2. Eagles vs Trojans
3. Dynamos vs Superboulders
4. Typhoons vs Titans

The audience enjoyed watching the high intensity football matches. The ceremonyended by giving a vote of thanks which was followed by a jam session for the students.
