Nagpur: The students of Govindrao Wanjari College of Engineering and Technology organized a program on Digital India Initiatives under the students’ forum, named ‘ACTIVE-X’ of CSE/IT Department on July 7, 2015 in the graceful presence of chief guest, Principal Dr. S. B. Deshpande and Vice Principal Prof. S.S.Uttarwar.
The program was organized to make students aware of the Digitization and to introduce various digital services provided by the government. Various audio visuals of the digital services such as Digital lockers, National Scholarship Portal, e-Hospitals, e-Sign, Digitize India Platform, MyGov Mobile App, Swachh Bharat Mission App, Wi-Fi Hotspot, e-Kranti provided by the government were presented. The main aim was to provide Digital Literacy among the students.
The students actively attended this program making it a grand success.
